Furthermore, the advanced mesh actively and efficiently wicks away sweat and moisture, ensuring your feet remain dry so you can focus on achieving your best performance. For added comfort, a padded tongue rests gently against your skin, preventing any irritation or chafing. A redesigned kickback collar offers additional padding to ensure extra protection, and completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that provides a reliable and secure fit, giving you a locked-in feel as you run.
DNA LOFT v3 Midsole
Designed using a DNA LOFT v3 foam, the midsole of the Ghost 17 uses more of this super-soft, nitrogen-infused cushioning than its predecessor to maximise comfort. With an extra 3mm of foam in the forefoot and 1mm in the heel, the DNA LOFT carries the footwell and moulds itself to the shape of the foot, enabling it to fully support the curvature of the underfoot. Having this cushioning and support helps to absorb the shock and impact placed upon your joints, minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The outsole of the Brooks Ghost 17 is designed with a grippy and durable rubber, providing excellent grip and traction.
