Airy Mesh Upper
Crafted for breathable comfort, the Brooks Cascadia 19 features an airy mesh upper. The fabric's perforations promote continuous airflow, allowing cool air in and hot, humid air out. This design helps keep your feet cool, dry, and comfortable throughout your wear. The mesh construction creates an ideal internal environment, enabling you to extend your distance and time in complete comfort. In high-wear zones, overlays offer added protection against varied terrain. Additionally, the traditional lacing system securely locks the midfoot, minimising unwanted movement. Heel pull tabs have been incorporated to make putting on and taking off the shoes easier.
DNA LOFT v3 Midsole
Designed using a DNA LOFT v3 foam, the midsole of the Cascadia 19 uses more of this super-soft, nitrogen-infused cushioning than its predecessor to maximise comfort. With an extra 4mm of foam in the forefoot and 2mm in the heel, the DNA LOFT carries the footwell and moulds itself to the shape of the foot, enabling it to fully support the curvature of the underfoot. Having this cushioning and support helps to absorb the shock and impact placed upon your joints, minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort. The Cascadia utilises an improved Trail Adapt System to ensure maximum stability on uneven surfaces and integrates a flexible rock plate to protect against rocks and debris.
TrailTack Green Rubber Outsole
The outsole of the Cascadia 19 is designed for exceptional grip on various terrains. It features TrailTack Green rubber and high surface-area lugs, providing excellent traction whether you're going uphill or downhill, even on slippery surfaces. In line with Brooks' eco-conscious practices, the outsole is made with 25% recycled materials. The durable, resilient non-skid rubber ensures optimal grip and traction, making it ideal for technical trails with unpredictable terrain. The inclusion of deep lugs further enhances multi-directional grip.
