Breathable Mesh Upper
Crafted using a breathable mesh upper, the Launch 12 allows cool air to circulate, while at the same time removing unwanted warm air, for optimum temperature regulation and to help create a microclimate where feet can thrive under pressure. The materials are super soft, for optimum next-to-skin comfort and a distraction-free design, whilst the quick-drying properties stop sweat or moisture build to keep you dry. A soft, padded heel collar and tongue increase comfort and reduce irritation caused by rubbing when running. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
DNA Flash and DNA FLASH v2 Midsole
Constructed from a combination of Brooks' updated nitrogen-infused DNA FLASH alongside DNA FLASH v2 technology, the Launch 12 offers enhanced levels of cushioning and shock absorption. The midsole has improved responsiveness and an increased stack height, encouraging a quick turnover. It features fine-tuned layers of DNA FLASH that effectively absorb impact, sparing joints when striking down on hard surfaces. The updated DNA FLASH v2 cushioning is lighter and springier, helping you feel fresh even late in the run. DNA FLASH v2 also resides in the forefoot of the midsole to deliver a fast, energised ride.
RoadTack Rubber Outsole
The Brooks Launch has been designed using a RoadTack rubber outsole, comprising a mix of standard rubber and recycled silica materials. This construction ensures exceptional durability, allowing you to maintain performance over long distances. The enhanced grip provided by the outsole delivers a firm, assured footing and allows you to operate with confidence, even in difficult conditions or on slightly uneven terrain. Furthermore, the outsole includes strategically placed flex grooves to provide a full, unrestricted range of mobility and exceptional flexibility in all directions during the gait cycle.
