The air inside is able to be replaced by cooler air from outside. This is perfect for when you become more active, as your muscles working harder will cause your body to warm. By allowing cool air in, this will help to maintain your body temperature to keep you feeling cool and fresh. A full two-way zip down the front of the jacket is easily adjusted to allow cooler air in and out of it and is additionally taped to block moisture out. The front zip has a stormflap, which will block the wind out to keep you protected from strong gales on the mountainside.
