Leather Upper

Designed to provide comfort and protection, the Dachstein Super Ferrata MC Walking Boots have been constructed using a Perwanger Leather. The boots offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The tough leather upper ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a boot you can truly rely on. As well as this, a Condura mesh has also been used on the upper to provide increased ventilation. The mesh allows cool air to flow throughout out the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

PU Midsole

The midsole of the Ferrata MC uses a directly injected PU foam to provide long-lasting cushioning and outstanding underfoot comfort. The PU foam feels soft underfoot for increased comfort on expeditions but, the foam also provides ample support to spare your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The midsole ensures you can go further for longer by inundating shocks and protecting your feet when striking down and also disperses the shocks to propel you forward. The midsole ensures long-lasting comfort for long expeditions.

Vibram Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Vibram outsole, the Ferrata provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the extremely durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing on varied terrain. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping.
