This Futura 30 SL (shorter length) Backpack from Deuter has a women's specific fit and offers lightweight storage suitable for more athletic hill hikes. The sternum strap with one-handed operation and waist belt offer an extremely comfortable fit and carry. Although lightweight, this backpack provides plenty of storage for everything you need, with the main compartment even featuring an internal removable divider to keep everything organised. The Futura 30 SL features a variety of pockets for safe and secure storage of essential items. Side pockets provide easy storage for items you want close to hand, while the stretch-mesh front pocket is great for airing wet clothes on the move, keeping your other items dry. Other storage options include internal and external lid compartments, an ice axe and pole attachment and a key clip and glasses stow system. Keeping your contents in place, Deuter has added external compression straps to prevent shifting. The backpack features a rain cover for added water protection when the weather takes a turn on your hikes.

The bag also features Deuter's Aircomfort Back System. The ergonomic shoulder straps are padded and contoured to fit the body, whilst the hip fins are covered with Air Mesh fabric to provide ventilation and breathability. The specially designed mesh provides back ventilation, dissipating hot air freely from three sides, keeping you cool, dry and comfortable. The bag uses a Flexi Sprint steel frame to provide steady load distribution, keeping the bag feeling even and light.

The backpack is also compatible with a hydration system up to 3L.
