This lightweight, technical Futura SL hiking backpack is specifically designed for women. With a shorter back, ActiveFit shoulder straps and conical-shaped hip fins, the Futura SL creates a solid, secure fit around the back and hips. The Aircomfort back system creates maximum airflow across the back for athletic hiking.

This Futura 24 SL Backpack offers lightweight storage suitable for hill walking, hiking, and city walking with a shorter back and narrower shoulder straps designed specifically for women. The conical hip fins and waist belt offer an extremely comfortable fit and carry. The pack features Deuter's adaptable Aircomfort, an innovative back system for comfortable carrying. The ActiveFit shoulder straps are padded and contoured to fit the body, whilst the hip wings are covered with Air Mesh fabric to provide ventilation and breathability, and the Flexi spring steel frame adds structure. The specially designed mesh provides back ventilation as hot air dissipates freely from three sides, ensuring you remain cool, dry and comfortable. Stabiliser straps and external compression straps enable you to alter the fit of the bag to a more comfortable one, and the sternum strap buckle with a one-handed operation helps to prevent bounce. Ice axe and pole attachment points enable you to store your trekking poles when they are no longer required.

Although lightweight, this backpack provides plenty of storage for everything that you need. The Futura 24 SL features a variety of pockets for safe and secure storage of essential items. The large main compartment with a U-shaped zip will allow you easy access to your essentials. Additionally, the top-loader with a drawcord and lid closure offers additional storage options, with the lid closure featuring an external compartment for your hiking equipment. Side pockets provide easy storage for items you want close at hand, whilst the stretch-mesh front pocket is great for airing wet clothes on the move, ensuring your other equipment remains dry. The backpack features a rain cover for added water protection when the weather takes a turn on your hikes. Hip fins are perfect for storing items you may need frequently, such as a compass or energy snacks, while a key clip ensures finding your keys is a doddle. Lastly, the backpack is also compatible with a hydration system to keep you hydrated whilst on the move (reservoir not included).
