Constructed using an illus softshell fabrication, the Dare 2b Duality II Lightweight Softshell Jacket offers maximum comfort whether you're hiking up the peak or skiing down the mountain. The soft fabric sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear and increases warmth when the temperature drops. The jacket repels water and prevents cold sports by blocking out harsh winds and light rain. The jacket uses SeamSmart technology which improves the fit of the jacket, and reduces the risk of irritation from occurring by rubbing and chafing, as the seams are flat-lying. The seams are also taped, which will seal out any moisture from going in any opening. A 4-way stretch fabric reduces restriction because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural motion. A technical hood offers extra protection from the wind and rain whilst a protective high collar further prevents the elements from getting in. The full-zip construction offers either ventilation or warmth; in colder climates, it can be worn up to seal in escaping heat or, when temperatures begin to rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up. As well as this stretch binding has been used on the cuff and hem to provide a stay-put fit the prevents warmth from escaping on chilly days.
