Nubuck Leather Upper

Constructed using a nubuck leather, the Ecco Offroad Walking Sandals offer a wide range of protection for your feet. The soft nubuck leather is comfortable against the skin yet still provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a sandal you can truly rely on. Cutouts within the upper reduce weight whilst also providing ample ventilation; cool air is encouraged to circulate ensuring a constant cooling feel for hot summer walks. A neoprene lining sits below the leather for a soft and snug fit, its comfortable nature ensures you can walk further for longer. Completing the upper are 3 points of adjustability which can be modified to provide an optimum and secure fit. The straps ensure a locked-down fit so you can tackle harsh terrain without distractions.

Fluidform Midsole

Fluidform has been used within the midsole to enhance flexibility so you can continue with quality and comfort. Fluidform forms a comfortable base around the shoe that ensures optimal support and improves cushioning so you feel comfortable on all adventures. ECCO's signature comfort comes from maintaining the anatomical integrity of the foot within the shoe and generating a durable, supple and integral bond between the midsole and its upper. Receptor technology has also been used within the midsole to ensure excellent stability and dynamic support from ground impact to toe-off. The added structure and support spares your joints as you strike down on hard an unforgiving surfaces so you can carry on with ease. A lightweight EVA moulded footbed is structured into the midsole to provide unrivalled cushioning and ample shock absorption. The midsole unit absorbs the shock that occurs throughout every step and works hard to dissipate the negative effects, reducing the risks of repetitive injury.

Durable Rubber Outsole

The rubber outsole combines outstanding grip with tough durability to bring you the perfect walking sandal. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage and protects users from losing control and slipping. It reduces weight without compromising durability to prevent wear and tear and provide enhanced traction on a wide range of surfaces. About Ecco

Karl Toosbury- the founder of ECCO- had a vision. He wanted to own a shoe factory and run his own business. Trained from an early age as a shoemaker, he gradually rose through the ranks. By his early thirties he was managing a shoe factory in Copenhagen. The business however, was not his.

The family decided to give up the security of a regular job, sold their home and moved to Bredebro in the west of Denmark. Karl then took over a empty factory, and sent out an ad asking "Who wants us?"

By the end of the year 74 people were employed and Karl's vision unfolded.
