GORE-TEX Upper
Constructed using a durable yak leather upper, the Ecco Cool Walk Walking Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The leather upper keeps the feet protected from debris and sharp objects as well as minimising the risks of wear and tear. Perforations within the leather increase ventilation ensuring your feet can breathe easy as you power through on hot and humid days. Additionally, the highly breathable textile lining further enhances ventilation by allowing cool air to flow throughout the shoe creating a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX Surround lining resides inside the shoe; it supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Offering 360 degree's of climate control, the construction keeps water from penetrating inside the shoe whilst ensuring perspiration is allowed to escape; keeping your feet cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Completing the upper is a bungee style lacing system which secures the midfoot for distraction-free strides.
PU Foam Midsole
The midsole of the Ecco Cool Walk Walking Shoes uses a directly injected PU foam to provide long-lasting cushioning and outstanding underfoot comfort. The PU foam feels soft underfoot for increased comfort on expeditions but, the foam also provides ample support to spare your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The midsole ensures you can go further for longer by inundating shocks and protecting your feet when striking down and also disperses the shocks to propel you forward. A perforated removable insole is also used within the midsole to provide increased ventilation and moisture management. The insole works in tandem with GORE-TEX surround technology to wick excess moisture away from the feet for quick evaporation. Completing the midsole are cut-outs which reduce weight and provide added breathability.
TPU Outsole
Developed using a TPU, the outsole of the Ecco Cool Walk Walking Shoes is lightweight and durable to provide unparalleled traction on tough terrain. The durable rubber outsole works to provide you with complete control on the most challenging terrain. The rubber is able to form a solid grip with a wide range of different surfaces so no matter what the challenge you can continue with complete confidence. It is also highly durable meaning no matter what you throw at it, the Cool Walk will perform time and time again. Additionally, a low to ground sole construction provides a natural position for the foot so that it can adapt to any challenges underfoot. Excellent ground adaptation increases the natural feel underfoot making them ideal for your next off-road adventure.
