The Phantom Pro is Evolv's most technically advanced climbing shoe. Inspired by hard climbing and steep angles, the Phantom Pro was completely engineered for the world's hardest single moves. Rated at a PSR 9, the Phantom Pro is a more powerful version of the Phantom, featuring an EVOWRAP tensioned midsole for even more power and tension.
Featuring a synthetic upper, the Phantom Pro ensures comfort and support. The upper sits comfortably against the skin and has minimal stretch to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free climbs. The multi-point sock closure with an adjustable single pull strap provides a secure and snug fit around the foot, while the large toe patch features a textured pattern that offers exceptional grip for secure toe hooking. A power lock heel also resides in the upper, creating a locked-in feel for increased stability and power on heel hooks and dynamic moves.
The midsole of the Phantom Pro is constructed from a full-length 1mm tensioned EVOWRAP rubber. This low-profile design minimises weight and increases underfoot feel. It achieves an optimal balance of rigidity and sensitivity, which is crucial for climbing. The increased sensitivity allows the wearer to better feel the rock or ground before committing to a movement.
The 3.5mm Evo-74 Outsole is designed to provide exceptional friction and maximum durability. This outsole enhances performance in both gym and outdoor climbing environments through its incredibly adhesive rubber compound. The high-friction rubber facilitates secure engagement with even the smallest footholds, enabling precise edging on angled terrain. This versatile compound is engineered to support climbers as they navigate the most technically demanding routes, ensuring stability and preventing slippage, particularly on challenging ascents. The outsole is fully resoleable, increasing the Phantom Pro's longevity and staying true to Evolv's sustainability efforts.
