Five Ten Trailcross Clip-In Women's Mountain Bike Shoes

Ride. Hike. Explore. The Trailcross Mountain Bike Shoes put adventure first, with a mix of clip-in pedal efficiency and hike-a-bike utility. 50% of the components used to make the uppers are made with a minimum of 50% recycled content.

Synthetic Upper

Constructed using a textile and synthetic mesh upper, the Five Ten Trailcross Mountain Bike Shoes are trail worthy for any outdoor adventure. Mesh allows air to fully permeate throughout the shoe, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air whilst simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air. Supplying flexible support, the mesh works to increase ventilation and eradicate the build-up of sweat which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. Synthetic overlays swathe the midfoot to provide durability as well as support. The overlays resist the effects of wear and tear and work in tandem with the lacing system and hook-and-loop top strap to ensure a locked-down, supportive fit. There is an impact resistant toe-box which ensures your toes are protected from bumps, knock and scrapes. Finally, providing you with visibility during low light conditions, the upper has reflective details throughout.

EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. A nylon shank has also been used to reduce torsional rotation which in turn will reduce your risks of injury. The shank increases stability so you can continue with complete confidence.

Stealth Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Stealth Rubber outsole, the Trailcross Mountain Bike Shoes ensures unbeatable grip on and off the bike. Designed to provide grip and traction to any pedals Stealth is ideal for off-road cycling. The outsole also works to dampen shocks and vibrations so you can continue riding with complete comfort. Stealth is also highly durable so you can perform with complete confidence on rough, uneven and pointy terrain. A dotty tread pattern has also been used on the Trailcross to provide the ultimate sticky surface for your feet and pedals. The dotty pattern interacts with any pedal pin to ensure grip and traction so you can ride with complete confidence. Rounded edges are also used on the dotty pattern to ensure freedom of movement, the rounded edges allow you to remain gripped as you fine-tune your foot position. Finally ensuring total security during intense mountain biking the outsoles have grooves, allowing you to easily clip your feet onto the pedals of your bike.
