Through the Forerunner 955 you can receive personalised training and recovery insights to help you prepare for future races. It works to keep track of your maximal oxygen uptake during exercise and understands how external factors may affect your performance. The Forerunner uses this data to evaluate your recent exercise history and performance indicators to let you know if you're training productively, peaking or overreaching. It can also view your overall training load, which measures your exercise volume from the last seven days and compares it to the optimal range for your fitness and recent training history. The Forerunner 955 also allows you to view your entire week of daily suggested workouts, which adapt after every run to match your performance and recovery.

The Forerunner 955 allows you to connect with online fitness communities close to you and all over the world.
