The Gore R3 Windstopper vest is engineered for road and trail running, though can additionally be used for fast hiking. Constructed with GORE WINDSTOPPER fabric, it helps to shield you from the wind whilst delivering maximum breathability to keep you comfortable in cool and windy weather conditions. The totally windproof, yet extremely breathable membrane blocks the wind and allows vapour to escape. This combination of protection and breathability minimises the wind's chilling effect whilst reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. As well as being windproof and enhancing breathability, the GORE WINDSTOPPER fabric provides durable protection from light rain showers, keeping you protected, no matter what the weather. The jacket is equipped with a full-length zip with a semi-lock slider to keep the zip right where you want it for ventilation or warm, meanwhile, zip tags ensure ease of use. An underflap lies beneath the zip to ensure additional protection from the elements, whilst a close fit high collar prevents the risk of wind chill entering the interior. For a comfortable fit, flat-lock seams are used to reduce the risk of irritation and discomfort, keeping your mind fully focused on what's ahead. For when the jacket is not needed, it can be easily packed down and stowed away in a bag. Two front zipped pockets are perfect for storing essentials you need quick access too, whilst an extra internal integrated pocket is ideal for valuables.
