The Master Kit consists of a Mega K6N screw gate carabiner and a Master device. Ideal and complete solution for belaying, thanks to the shape of the carabiner and to the versatility of the Master.

Master Belay

Built for multi-purpose use, the Grivel Master Belay Device can be used for both belaying and rappelling. The Master is a versatile, dynamic and reliable tool to minimize the force transmitted to the anchors, the belay and the wear and tear over time of the rope. To reduce the overall weight, the belay device features multiple holes plus, these holes allows heat to escape ensuring your rope never becomes too hot. Its body has been designed with a series of holes on the sides to reduce weight, but above all to disperse the heat and consequently not to overheat the rope that passes into it. Lastly, it can be used both on single pitch climbs, on a multipitch route, and on a classic wall where you don't want to stress the anchors.

Mega K6N Carabiner

Featuring a screw-lock, the Mega K6N HMS Carabiner is ideal for occasional use in dirty environments where the conditions could cause an automatic locking system to jam. The screw-lock can be easily opened and either locked or not according to the user's needs. A keylock system also features on the carabiner to ensure optimal efficiency. It works to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner onto anchors, ropes or harness gear. The HMS shape allows you to have the necessary space for the rope to run, for the insertion of the clove hitch and in some cases for the insertion of several of them. Lastly, the carabiner has been constructed using 7075 aluminum which offers the best ratio between weight, strength and durability.
