Helly Hansen Verglas Hooded Down Insulator Jacket
A hooded version of our lightweight Verglas down jacket featuring high-quality European Goose down and Pertex microlight fabric. Compatible with the Helly Hansen Component Insulation System (CIS), it also can zip in as a warm liner for any of the CIS compatible shells and 3-in-1 jacket.
The Helly Hansen Verglas Hooded Down Insulator Jacket is constructed with Pertex Microlight which is well balanced, providing lightweight weather protection whilst remaining durable and abrasion resistant. Its softness allows down and synthetic insulation to fully loft. Using a ripstop fabric which are woven fabrics often made out of nylon, using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping. The jacket has also been treated with DWR treatment (Durable Water Resistant), this is a coating added to the fabric which allows for this Verglas Down Jacket to be water-resistant, this prevent's the outer layer of fabric from becoming saturated with water helping the nylon fabric stay dry for as long as possible.
The jacket is constructed with YKK VisIon zippers on the centre front and hand pockets, which help keep the wearer insulated whilst the pockets allow for storage of essential items. Designed with an attached hood that is easily adjustable with one hand, Soft Snowstop Lycra cuffs and a bottom hem cinch cord, this jacket keeps your body and the head area protected from those cold harsh wintry elements, ensuring you stay warm and comfortable throughout.
