The Jacket offers a lightweight construction and 40D down proof fabric as well as allied down 85/15 European goose to ensure ultimate comfort and warmth. In addition, Helly Hansen has added Primaloft Silver Insulation technology. The Insulation features a high warmth to weight ratio which means you don't need bulk to stay warm and ensuring ultimate comfort. Furthermore, the insulation is water-resistant meaning it absorbs less moisture from the start so you stay drier and warmer for longer.
The high-performance insulation offers a full spectrum of features to brave the elements including breathability which encourages the passage of moisture vapour to keep you from being cold or clammy. Secondly, the insulation packs down easily for stashing in small placed and benefits layering.
The outer surface of the jacket offers a PFC free DWR (Durable Water Repellency) Treatment which helps fight off light showers ensuring warmth and comfort. The hood configuration is extremely soft, warm and provides a snug fit keeping your head warm during testing conditions. The hood has an internal high visibility that can be flipped outwards during low-light conditions, while hood adjustments at the center front with 2 side shock cord and locks provide easy adjustments; helping you get the perfect fit.
A full inner windfly sits behind the front full zip and works to block wind and has a top rollover to protect the face when needed. Two dump pockets provide ample carrying capacity, providing safe and secure storage spaces for any essential or valuable items, while an inner left chest pocket also provides safe storage space for valuable items. Adjustable velcro cuffs enhance the fit and comfort while a drop back hem construction offers added protection and coverage. Lastly, the jacket features durable YKK vislon zippers with an easy to grab puller ensuring when the weather is bitter you do not have to take your gloves off to access pockets.
