The Helly Hansen Liraloft Hybrid Insulator Jacket uses Liraloft insulating technology, developed by Primaloft and Lifa, with hybrid shell fabric and slick face stretch fabric for the ultimate lightweight, insulating jacket that provides maximum comfort. The Lifa yarn technology is 20% lighter than standard insulation creating a jacket that keeps you warmer without the added bulk and weight, maximum agility without compromising protection against the elements.
Lifaloft is an insulation revolution that will keep you warmer with less weight and bulk due to the unique lifa yarn technology. Developed in cooperation with PrimaLoft, Lifaloft is a combination of Lifa and PrimaLoft extensive knowledge in synthetic insulation. Lifaloft insulation is based on a yarn technology that traps more air vs polyester at a lighter weight. The fiber doesn't absorb water and has inherited water repellency due to the hydrophobic properties of the Lifa fibers which make this insulation technology ideally for year around adventures in any condition and keeps you warm even when wet. Less carbon and water footprint vs comparable polyester for a lower environmental impact.
The windproof and (DWR) Durable Water Repellent treated fabric ensures you are protected against all weather conditions, whilst the unique, fitted, quilted design enables the jacket to be layered or worn alone; a design that is flexible for all your outdoor needs. YKK zipper pockets ensure easily accessible secure storage for your outdoor essentials. Lycra edge bands around the collar and cuffs give the jacket a clean finish whilst locking in warmth and the full inner zipper placket provides both protection against the wind and easy control over ventilation.
