Helly Hansen Women's Snowstar Jacket
Giving you all the insulation you need on the slopes, without compromising any range of movement, the Helly Hansen Women's Snowstar Jacket is the perfect accompaniment for the winter seasons on the pistes.
Made with a two-ply fabric construction, this works to help retain heat extremely effectively when you are active on the slopes. The two-ply will also make the fabric extremely durable, able to stand up against forces placed against it. Inside the two layers, Helly Hansen have used Primaloft insulation. This extremely lightweight fabric has exceptionally efficient heat retention to weight ratio, perfect for activities in the cold. As well as this, on the inside of the jacket there is soft fur. This will retain heat in the jacket extremely effectively, meaning that you will have insulation guaranteed on the coldest of days. The material on the jacket will also protect you from other factors that could cause discomfort. The material is waterproof, sealing the entrance of moisture from snow out at all times. The fabric will also block the wind out extremely effectively, keeping the skin unaffected within the jacket. The outside of the jacket is treated with a durable water repellent coating, wicking surface moisture away extremely efficiently and effectively to keep the jacket lightweight. Despite sealing the air out of this jacket, it will still allow a controlled flow of air in and out of the material. This will mean that as you warm up, the material allows the excessive heat to escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside, keeping you comfortable and focused. Under the arms there are specially positioned ventilation zones, which will encourage air to enter and exit there. With articulated sleeves, this will mean that there is no restriction whatsoever to the arms and elbows. This will give you the confidence and balance to be able to use your poles. The material is able to stretch in two different ways, which will mean that you won't feel restricted in any way. A full zip down the front of the jacket is easy to adjust to allow more air in or to seal it out. As well as this, the zip has a windproof flap, sealing out the wind at the front of the jacket. The hood will provide you with full coverage, and it is adjustable, allowing you to find the perfect personalised fit. It is also helmet-compatible, allowing you to put it on over your head whilst skiing. All of the seams are sealed on the jacket, which will further ensure that wind and water cannot penetrate through and cause discomfort. For further warmth on the arms, there are wrist gaiters which will sit comfortably and provide an extra layer of warmth. The elasticity of the wrists will also seal heat in, and block the entry of wind to the arms for more insulation. Dual hand warming pockets provide you with a quick and easy way to get a bit extra warmth. There is also a zipped chest pocket where you can quickly access securely held items. For other items of value that need a little extra security, there is an internal pocket, large enough to carry goggles and electronics. There is also a ski-pass pocket, making ti easy to quickly tap in on your way up to the top. Flat-lying seams within the jacket will remove the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing.
