Dri-Tec Upper

Constructed using a suede leather upper, the Hi-Tec Europeak WP Walking Boots ensure long-lasting durability and comfort. The durable upper protects your feet from knocks and scrapes whilst also ensuring your shoes look and stay newer for longer. The suede not only withstands the wear and tear you'll encounter while out and about, but is also highly stable. A Dri-Tec membrane also resides within the upper to keep your feet cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Dri-Tec ensures superior waterproofing and excellent vapour transmission to maximise your performance in even the wettest of environments. It works to ensure that excess sweat and moisture is wicked away from the skin where it can be easily evaporated whilst also preventing wet weather from gaining entry. The millions of microscopic pores within the Dri-Tec membrane allow water vapour to escape without allowing water droplets in, so your feet will always remain dry and comfortable. Completing the upper is a durable rustproof hardware lacing system which locks down the midfoot to create a snug and secure fit.

EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of moulded EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. As well as this, a removable EVA footbed also exists underfoot to provide additional cushioning so you'll always remain comfortable on long-distance days. Completing the midsole is a shank support structure which works to increase the shoe's torsional rigidity, preventing twisting and reducing risk of injury by creating a stable platform for you to tackle tricky terrain on.

MDT Rubber Outsole

Engineered to keep you under firm control, no matter how uneven and muddy the ground below is, the M-D Traction outsole will ensure that grip is one less thing for you to worry about. The durable and abrasion-resistant rubber maintains its shape and profile no matter what the levels of abuse below are like. The rubber will also be able to form a solid bond with a wide range of surface, giving you a firm base to push off from. Deep lugs will dig into the wet and muddy ground, anchoring your foot in place. The lugs are also strategically placed to aid with movements like braking, forward motions and changes of direction. The outsole is also designed to clean itself, which will mean that mud that gathers on the outsole is quickly removed, allowing optimal performance from the boot.
