Engineered Mesh Upper

Constructed with an open, engineered mesh the Hoka Bondi 7 offers a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort and flexibility, whilst remaining highly breathable. Allowing cool air to permeate the fabric, uncomfortable heat build-up is removed creating a healthy environment feet can thrive in. The mesh pattern is what differs from the Bondi 6, with larger perforations over the toe box and some smaller vents over the mid foot and at the arch. Striking the perfect balance between support and encouraging the foot to move naturally, the lycra comfort frame heel section works with a lowered heel collar providing support and stability to the rear foot without restriction to the Achilles or ankle. An additional internal heel counter provides a secure, locked-in fit that reduces in shoe slippage whilst the traditional lace closure secures the midfoot working together for a distraction-ride.

Full EVA Midsole

Early-stage Meta-Rocker geometry is applied in the midsole to increase running efficiency. Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This design supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe off. A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.
