Breathable Engineered Mesh Upper

Surrounding the upper of the Challenger 7 is an extremely breathable mesh which keeps you feeling ventilated and comfortable no matter what. Reimagined with recycled content, the updated engineered mesh upper offers improved breathability whilst remaining lightweight. Air that builds up within that is warm will be able to escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside the shoes. This will work constantly for effective ventilation. This lightweight upper helps improve your time and gives you complete freedom. A comfortable heel cap fits snugly around your heel, providing a soft, close, locked-in feel. The secure lacing will allow you to adjust everything you need for a personalised fit. The tongue is flat-lying, which will sit comfortably on the ankle, preventing it from causing any irritation by rubbing and chafing. An extended heel pull offers easy entry.

CMEVA Midsole

The Challenger 7 continues to offer a high cushion-to-weight ratio with a lightweight, compression-moulded EVA midsole that delivers non-stop comfort and a plush underfoot feel; designed to help each stride feel more comfortable than the last the compression-moulded EVA absorbs impact forces and creates a stable landing so you can you run further for longer in comfort and protection, ensuring the wear and tear placed on your joints are kept to a minimum. Although lighter than the last iteration, the Challenger 7 features an increased stack height to offer even more cushioning.

Durabrasion Rubber Outsole

When trail running, it is imperative to have an assured footing, with difficult, unpredictable terrain often causing obstacles and challenges to your performance. The Challenger 7 boasts a Durabrasion rubber outsole, which delivers an abundance of grip and traction to help fill you with confidence as you take on the trails. Designed for road-focused all-terrain running, the rubber compound extends rubber longevity. 4mm lugs provide traction on various surfaces; strategically placed with an improved lug pattern along the outsole the lugs provide a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions and much-needed flexibility to bolster comfort and performance in equal measures. The updated lug pattern delivers a smoother ride on the road without sacrificing its trail traction, meaning that the Challenger 7 provides stability on various terrains, making it the perfect all-purpose trail shoe.
