Hoka Cielo X1 2.0 Running Shoes

A tip-of-the-spear product tuned for higher tempo pickups, the Cielo X1 2.0 is a must for speed seekers. Engineered with an aggressive forefoot rocker and ultra-responsive dual-density PEBA midsole with snappy carbon fibre plate, this pace-pushing road racer has been finished with a light, breathable upper.

Engineered Jacquard Mesh Upper

Designed using an engineered jacquard mesh upper, the Cielo X1 2.0 encourages cool air to flow to regulate temperature and ensure feet remain fresh and comfortable. The mesh allows a constant supply of cool, fresh air to circulate whilst at the same time, removing unwanted, warm air for cool, fresh feet. A warp knit tongue is made with 100% recycled polyester to reduce irritation caused by rubbing, while the cushioned collar provides a close fit to enhance comfort. 3D screen printed overlays increase the durability of the uppers for reliability and complete comfort. The Cielo X1 2.0s have a traditional lacing system to lockdown the midfoot for a more secure and stable fit.

PEBA Foam Midsole

Offering an exceptionally comfortable ride, the Cielo X1 2.0 utilises a PEBA foam midsole to provide a more cushioned, responsive experience. The foam adapts to your stride and provides you with great cushioning and flexibility, and also helps to reduce injury by absorbing impact for a softer landing. A speed-centric MetaRocker has been specifically designed with a low heel-toe drop to create a rocking chair-style effect and encourage a guided gait cycle for a faster toe-off. A winged carbon fibre plate helps to deliver a smoother transition throughout the gait cycle. The carbon plate minimises energy loss, increases explosive propulsion and delivers an abundance of structural support, making running feel effortless and giving you the confidence to reach new PBs. Also residing in the midsole is a forefoot-focused Active Foot Frame, which cradles the foot to provide ultimate support and keep you confident. Finishing off the midsole is a SCF TPEE sockliner for optimum step-in comfort from the first stride to the last step.

Sticky Rubber Outsole

Completing the Cielo X1 2.0, the outsole has been designed using a stick rubber. The rubber ensures exceptional traction, offering grip where you most need so you can move fast and with confidence when chasing down them PB's. The rubber has also been designed to be extremely tough and durable whilst providing excellent grip. Completing the outsole are dynamic cutouts which help to reduce weight so you remain light and snappy with every stride.
