Technical Synthetic Mesh Upper

Employing a newly updated upper, the Rocket X 2 utilise a technical synthetic mesh. This construction supplies your foot with exceptional airflow, keeping you cool and comfortable during the more intense parts of your run. The mesh delivers a foot-hugging fit, helping to prevent movement inside the shoes, meaning fewer distractions when competing. The materials will also work to keep your foot dry, by supplying moisture-wicking properties, meaning sweat and moisture will be removed from the surface of your skin to keep you cool and comfortable. An internal mid-foot cage will work with the mesh to supply a secure, locked-in fit, delivering lightweight, foot-hugging comfort. Working in tandem, the shoes have a gusseted tongue, to keep things comfortable, preventing any unwanted debris from entering and irritation and abrasion from occurring. Finally, the shoes have a recycled polyester lacing system, keeping the foot locked in and secure, and enhancing the fit for an enjoyable running experience.

High Performance PEBA Midsole

Supplying you with an exceptionally reliable ride, the Rocket X 2 features a high-performance PEBA foam, with an increased stack height, providing a more cushioned, responsive ride. Additionally, the shoes have a PROFLY-X construction that adapts to your stride and provides a great balance of support and flexibility. The PROFLY-X construction helps to reduce injury by cushioning landings and returning this energy to provide you with propulsive toe-offs. The low-profile footbed keeps your foot closer to the ground, utilising a firmer material designed to provide an efficient push-off. Placed between these two responsive foams is a newly updated carbon fibre plate. The remastered carbon fibre plate with updated geometry will provide a more responsive, impactful ride. The plate has spoon-shaped geometry that enhances propulsion, for assistance with every stride. The carbon plate helps to maintain the meta-rocker which lies underfoot and as a result, the two work in tandem to amplify the rocker's benefits. The aggressive Meta-Rocker is applied in the midsole to increase running efficiency. Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off.

Durabrasion Outsole

A flexible and Durabrasion outsole completes the Rocket X 2. The outsole enhances responsiveness, increases traction and ensures high rebound cushioning. The durable rubber will keep you in firm control as soon as you set off. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole anchors you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position. The Rocket X 2 uses zonal rubber placement reducing overall weight whilst still providing excellent durability.
