Hoka Clifton 10 Women's Running Shoes
A trusted trainer for daily maintenance miles, the Clifton has been the keystone of Hoka's cushioned styles for 10 years and counting. Ushering in a new era of plush performance, this next-generation update delivers a revitalized underfoot experience with an additional 3mm in heel-to-toe drop.
Jacquard Knit Upper
Constructed using a Jaquard style knit, the upper on the Clifton 10 stays lightweight, breathable and highly durable. With strategically placed perforations within the mesh, air is able to flow effectively around the foot, as warm air is able to escape and create room for that fresh feeling. Not only is the material breathable, but also highly wicking to moisture that could possibly build around the foot. Sweat is wicked away from the foot to keep you dry and maximise comfort. To lock down the midfoot, a traditional lacing system has been utilised to limit tongue migration and in-shoe slippage, which is further helped by the added padded tongue to maximise comfort. To complete the design of the upper, Hoka have added reflective detailing to improve your low light visibility and keep you pushing onwards for longer.
CMEVA Midsole
Smooth Meta-Rocker geometry has been added to the newest version of the Clifton. This has been designed to increase running efficiency and create a smoother ride as you run. The Meta-Rocker geometry has a low heel-to-toe differential and a sculpted outsole, creating a unique fulcrum effect like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. Supporting a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off allows you to run for longer, as this slows fatigue. The midsole geometry has been fine-tuned from the last model, providing a more stable ride. The midsole has been formed of compression moulded EVA foam to provide a plush cushioning and extra responsiveness underfoot. This generous midsole, protects joints and feet from possible injury as it effectively absorbs shock upon impact from the unforgiving surfaces below. Absorbed energy is later released within following strides, adding propulsion to your run. Hoka has introduced its Rearfoot-Focused Active Foot Frame technology, designed to cradle and support the foot in the rearfoot area, enhancing stability and a smooth transition from midfoot landing to toe-off. This is further enhanced by the extra 3mm drop from the previous iteration. Enhancing underfoot comfort is a moulded EVA sockliner for a soft feel with every step taken.
Durabrasion Outsole
A grippy outsole with a full ground contact design completes the Clifton 10. The 10th version updated tread design increases traction on the ground below while being lightweight. This will keep you in firm control across varied terrains over a long period. The rubber is highly durable, resisting the traumas of heel strikes to bring you a long-lasting running buddy.
