An accessible trainer that delivers a well-balanced ride, the Kawana 2 has been fine-tuned with a single-layer mesh upper, sock-like bootie, and eye row gillies for enhanced foot lockdown.
The upper is constructed from mesh for maximum breathability. Micro perforations allow heat and vapour to escape whilst encouraging fresh air to flow in and circulate for a pleasant cooling sensation. Lightweight yet resilient, this upper will help you power through your training in comfort and confidence. A traditional lacing system with eye row ghillies locks down the foot for maximum control and stability, and a padded tongue provides plush comfort and relieves lace pressure. The sock-like internal bootie construction provides excellent support and comfort, whilst the heel pull tab helps make on/off easy. Finally, hints of reflectivity help you stay seen in low light.
The midsole has been constructed from Regrind, a recycled material made with scraps produced in the manufacturing process. It is eco-friendly and has a unique look due to the combination of pieces integrated into it. It attenuates shock as you strike down, helping to protect your joints as you run. The energy produced rebounds into your stride, helping you run further, faster, using less energy due to the momentum created. This means you can get more out of your training.
The outsole of the Kawana 2 is made with a gum rubber that forms an ultra-grippy bond with the road surface giving you great power and push-off. This durable material holds up to the test of the road over time, allowing you to go further, faster and longer.
