Water-Resistant Leather Upper

The Hoka Bondi SR Running Shoes feature a water-resistant leather upper. This durable upper repels water to keep your feet dry and comfortable, whilst still allowing breathability. It provides a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort and flexibility. A padded memory foam collar cradles your ankle in plush comfort, adding support and stability to the rear foot without restricting the Achilles or ankle. A soft tongue lining wrap enhances comfort, whilst an additional internal heel counter provides a secure, locked-in fit that reduces in-shoe slippage. The traditional lace closure secures the midfoot, working together for a distraction-free ride.

Compression Moulded EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of compression-moulded EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. An early-stage Meta-Rocker geometry is applied to the midsole to increase running efficiency. This is created with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, to encourage a more natural gait cycle. This supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe off.

Slip-Resistant Rubber Outsole

Boasting a proprietary outsole compound tested against industry standards, the Bondi SR features an ultra-grippy, full ground contact rubber that stands up to the demands of the service industry and medical field alike. It has been tested on surfaces with water, oil and soap for slip resistance, so you can be assured of enhanced traction. The rubber outsole reduces weight without compromising durability, with high abrasion rubber zones located on the toe and heel to prevent wear and tear.
