A lightweight rip stop polyester has been used in the upper to provide lightweight durability and breathability. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in whilst a breathable tongue also works to increase overall ventilation. Lastly, completing the upper are lightweight laces which reduce additional weight and provide a locked-in fit.
A dual density CMEVA midsole provides a firm feel in the forefoot and softer cushioning in the heel to provide a forgiving landing and responsive toe-off. The midsole also boosts your energy return with each stride, allowing you to gain speed while concentrating fully on the race ahead.
Hoka have constructed the outsole using a symmetric spike placement which offers an equilibrium on both sides, to effectively improve your performance and balance. Having the strategically placed spikes will enable you to run with comfort and confidence, knowing you have the stability to push yourself to the limit and achieve the best results possible. Ideal for middle and long distances, the spikes are highly durable and long-lasting to provide optimal grip and traction on the track. A high- abrasion rubber also works to provide increased durability, grip, and traction in all conditions.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
