Inov8 Parkclaw 260 Knit Trail Running Shoes

Evolution at its best: Inov8 have taken the best features from the Parkclaw 240 and Parkclaw 275, added in some new technology, and created the perfect shoe for road-to-trail running. Perfect for runners of all abilities seeking a hybrid shoe that can be worn from the door or those looking to transition from road running into trail running.

Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale

For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the Parkclaw 260 Knit Trail Running Shoes as Grade 5.

Breathable Knit Upper

The new knitted upper not only gives supreme comfort but also the adaptive support needed for the foot to react to changes in terrain. The knit upper of the Parkclaw 260 envelops the feet in breathable comfort. Offering the most natural, lightweight fit, the knit upper wraps around the foot for maximum comfort whilst providing superior breathability, eradicating uncomfortable heat build-up for a healthy environment that your feet can thrive in. Engineered with X-Protec, the upper delivers ultimate protection and durability against testing terrains; and a reinforced hybrid tongue locks out dirt and debris from entering the shoe to ensure a comfortable, distraction-free ride. The traditional lacing system allows you to secure the fit for minimal distractions.

PowerFlow+ Midsole

The midsole for the Inov8 Parkclaw 260 is set with a PowerFlow+ compound for resilient cushioning with maximum memory retention. The active compound reduces resistance and forces pressed upon the underfoot, engaging a smooth stride through transition and over uneven grounds and delivers increased shock absorption and energy return. Offering a cushioned ride, the powerflow+ midsole provides 10% better shock absorption and 25% better energy return than standard midsoles allowing you to run harder for longer. A new BOOMERANG footbed gives you 40% greater energy rebound. The revolutionary foam structure retains energy then releases it to propel you forwards, built to retain its shape and rebound powers for longer.

Hybrid Outsole

The Inov8 Parkclaw 260 Knit Trail Running Shoes provides versatile grip. There is a slightly more aggressive, trail-style stud pattern compared to a road specific shoe, but the shape and arrangement of the studs ensures it feels smooth when running on roads. It provides an unrivalled grip over unpredictable terrain and the quick release of debris. Every ounce of energy generated by the body is transferred to the road through the outsole, delivering traction throughout the gait cycle. The sticky fusion compound gives a smooth ride and grip on an array of surfaces whilst the meta-flex groove is located at the forefoot to encourage natural forefoot flex during the toe-off phase of the gait cycle.
