Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale

For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the F-Lite 235 V3 Training Shoes as Grade 5.

Breathable Mesh Upper

Constructed using a breathable mesh, the upper of the F-Lite 235 allows you to power through any workout. Perforations within the fabric allow cool air to circulate throughout the shoe creating a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. As you build up heat in the gym, the breathable mesh forces out hot air ensuring you remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Synthetic overlays also feature on the upper to ensure your feet are protected. The durable overlays increase midfoot support and reduce the risks of wear and tear whereas an elastic mesh liner hugs the foot for added comfort and support. As well, an external heel cage ensures added stability around the heel so you remain supported through the toughest workouts. Completing the uppers of the shoe is a traditional system that locks in your foot, providing you with the support and comfort necessary without any distractions.

POWERFLOW+ Midsole

The midsole is set with a PowerFlow+ compound for resilient cushioning and maximum memory retention. The active compound reduces the resistance and force that's pressed upon the underfoot, engaging a smooth stride through transition and over uneven grounds. Not only this, but they deliver increased shock absorption and energy return. Offering a cushioned ride, PowerFlow+ midsole provides 10% better shock absorption and 25% better energy return than standard midsoles allowing you to run harder for longer. The midsole also features a 4mm drop which provides a perfect heel-to-toe drop for functional movements whilst still ensuring a natural feel.

Rubber Compound Outsole

Utilising Inov-8's sticky rubber compound, the F-Lite 235 Training Shoes work to keep you grounded during any workout. This rubber compound delivers better traction than its predecessor, over both wet and dry underfoot conditions; the StickyGrip rubber outsole delivers outstanding underfoot grip for every workout. A Rope-tec system has been used on the outsole to deliver traction and durability on rope climbs. The system extends from the outsole and into the upper to ensure complete protection and optimised grip in wet conditions. As well as this, a dynamic fascia band works to create a supernatural feel underfoot. The band delivers a kick of energy with each step you take allowing you to move faster and more efficiently. Completing the outsole are Meta-Flex grooves which increase overall flexibility and traction. The Meta-Flex grooves adorn the outsole allowing you to move freely and naturally during all weightlifting and fitness movements.
