Inov8 Mudtalon Zero V2 Men's Trail Running Shoes (Wide Fit)

Mangle the mud in the second generation of Inov8's zero-drop superstar. Providing a more natural running experience during races on mud and soft trails, the Mudtalon Zero V2 now has an improved grip, lockdown, drainage and enhanced durability.

Nylon Upper

Super lightweight, comfortable and breathable, the upper of the Mudtalon Zero V2 features a durable Nylon upper. Protecting your feet from the treacherous trails ahead, the uppers allow you to move fast and light without worrying about damaging your shoes, thanks to their long-lasting, reliable nature. The materials have exceptional breathable properties to provide feet with a consistent level of fresh, cool air, preventing feet from overheating and quick-drying abilities stop sweat build up, letting you enjoy every rocky path and uphill trail. Reduced seams help to prevent the risks of irritation or chafing, and provide you with a smooth step in comfort. Preparing you for those soggy races or training runs, the uppers have excellent draining properties to ensure dry, fresh feet on difficult journeys. Updated from their predecessors, the shoes feature four new drainage holes in the forefoot, so that water can escape quickly, preventing sloshing and discomfort during runs. Utilising Inov8's unique Wide Fit, NATURALFIT Footshape is secure at the heel and widens at the toes to provide space for them to splay naturally, allowing you to reconnect with the ground and achieve your full, natural potential. The Wide Fit version is perfect for those with wider feet or those going on long-distance trail runs to accommodate swelling feet. A slimmed-down, lightly padded tongue sits comfortably against your foot, for a sleek, faster feel, whilst the redesigned upper pattern increases the midfoot lockdown and works with the laces to ensure a secure hold.

FLYSPEED PRO Midsole

This zero-drop shoe provides you with a more natural, lightweight feel, and utilising Inov8's excellent supercritical FLYSPEED PRO foam, they provide you with soft, comfortable cushioning and a responsive trail running experience. The nitrogen-infused midsole is high-performing and allows your foot to adapt to the ground below, keeping you stable on tricky terrain and responding to the lumps and bumps of the trail, whilst propelling you towards the finish line. The shock-absorbing properties of the foam absorb impact when striking down on tough, less forgiving surfaces, reducing the risks of injury or discomfort during your trail run. Working with this, the Mudtalon Zero V2 utilises their iconic BOOMERANG footbed for added bounce, with energy-retaining properties to keep you comfortable underfoot.

STICKYGRIP Outsole

Improving on their previous version, this second iteration of the iconic Mudtalon Zero has an updated STICKYGRIP rubber adorning the outsole, for uncompromising grip and traction on a variety of surfaces. This new and improved rubber now has a 36% increase in wet slip resistance, so you can effortlessly skip across wet rocks and obstacles. This durable rubber ensures you can rely on the outsole of your shoes to last every challenging hurdle of the trail, and holds a solid grip on a variety of surfaces. Working confidently with this are aggressive 8mm lugs, a signature of the Mudtalon series that help to gouge through the thickest, ooziest of mud.
