The most cushioned of the Trailfly series, the Trailfly Max V2 guides you on long trails home with its super soft midsole and a stack of 24mm at the heel. They are a perfect, versatile shoe, ideal for use on ultras, hiking or even days when your legs are tired and need that extra bit of cushioning.
Wrapping snug around your foot and keeping you cool on tough trail journeys, the Trailfly Max V2 features a breathable mesh for fresh, comfortable feet. The flexible materials provide you with the perfect fit, whilst still allowing toes to bend and flex naturally, for a more consistent gait cycle. The strategically placed perforations throughout the shoe's upper supply feet with a constant level of cool, fresh air, to prevent overheating, particularly during high-pressure activities. With this, moisture-wicking properties reduce the build-up of unwanted moisture when things get intense, so you can concentrate on the miles ahead and be undistracted by soggy feet. For a secure, locked-in fit, the shoes feature traditional laces that allow you to make preferred adjustments and work with the tongue to prevent in-shoe slipping.
Inov8's supercritical, nitrogen-infused FLYSPEED Pro foam allows you to elegantly fly through tricky trails and in technical conditions. With a super-lightweight structure, the midsole provides max cushioning and outstanding energy return for a bouncy feel when running. With a 24mm heel stack and 18mm forefoot stack, the trail shoes provide you with soft, plush cushioning across long miles and tricky conditions. Working alongside this, the shoes feature a 6mm BOOMERANG footbed, which gives a bouncy feel and retains stability underfoot with plenty of agile ground feel. The insole features hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return during your stride to help you preserve your energy, perfect for long runs where maximising every bit of energy counts.
Inov8's graphene-infused rubber has been re-formulated to increase slip resistance on wet surfaces by 50% compared to its predecessors. The use of graphene helps prolong the lifespan of the outsole, providing you with dependable grip on dry and wet surfaces as well as top-quality durability. The multi-directional 4mm lug pattern ensures improved performance over hard and rocky ground and helps to provide uncompromised grip and enhanced durability over long distances. The lugs dip deep into muddy conditions, stopping you from losing control on fast corners and technical trails.
