Constructed using recycled materials, the Bridgewater Jacket is a sustainable alternative that has a dramatically lower carbon footprint than similar jackets. Equipped with TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE, a technology that has been developed in-house by Jack Wolfskin, this will provide multiple benefits to you. This is made from completely recycled materials like plastic bottles and is three times as sustainable and three times as strong as previous technologies. The technology will provide you with complete waterproofing. With a jacket that is intended to protect you from the cold, it's also important that no water or moisture is able to enter from the outside. The material is designed to stop this from happening, ensuring that no moisture is able to penetrate through and cause you any discomfort. To further enhance the protection, the TEXAPORE material will keep you feeling comfortable, with the wind being deflected away from the jacket to keep you in a warm and cosy environment. The jacket will however allow air to enter and exit, which will mean that sweat particles can escape out. So that you don't freeze, Texapore materials are designed so that sweat is quickly wicked away even when you step up your level of activity. Within the jacket, there are taped seams, which will reinforce the jacket. This will mean that moisture isn't able to enter through any part of the jacket, and the tape is also abrasion-resistant, which will keep you feeling comfortable and not cause any irritation by rubbing and chafing. At the front of the jacket, there is a full zip, which can be easily adjusted for a secured fit. This will block the entry of all windchill out, ensuring that you will always be protected from the weather. In addition to this, the jacket has a storm flap which will further protect from the wind. The storm flap can be secured in place by press stud buttons. A firmly attached hood will provide complete coverage to make sure that you will always have complete shelter when the weather changes. The hood can be adjusted, making it easy to achieve a personalised fit that will allow you a full range of vision. Storing small items securely can easily be done, as the jacket has five zipped pockets. There are two pockets on the chest, two on the waist and an even more secure inside pocket. Flat-lying seams within the jacket will completely remove the risk of irritation from occurring by rubbing and chafing. The soft inner of the jacket will also feel comfortable against the skin. If you feel like you don't need the jacket anymore on a warmer day, it is easily packed away into a backpack.
