Jack Wolfskin Byron Jacket
Lightweight, comfortable and ready for all conditions, the Jack Wolfskin Byron Jacket is perfect for all days out, and is sustainably produced using recycled materials.
Constructed using recycled materials, the Byron Jacket is a sustainable alternative that has a dramatically lower carbon footprint than similar jackets. Equipped with TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE, a technology that has been developed in-house by Jack Wolfskin, this will provide multiple benefits to you. This is made from completely recycled materials like plastic bottles and is three times as sustainable and three times as strong as previous technologies. The technology will provide you with complete waterproofing. With a jacket that is intended to protect you from the cold, it's also important that no water or moisture is able to enter from the outside. The material is designed to stop this from happening, ensuring that no moisture is able to penetrate through and cause you any discomfort. To further enhance the protection, the TEXAPORE material will keep you feeling comfortable, with the wind being deflected away from the jacket to keep you in a warm and cosy environment. The jacket will however allow air to enter and exit, which will mean that sweat particles can escape out. So that you don't freeze, Texapore materials are designed so that sweat is quickly wicked away even when you step up your level of activity. The construction of the Byron Jacket and the freedom of movement that it allows you to make turns it into a sporty jacket. The sleeves are articulated, which will allow you to make a full range of movements without any restrictions. The jacket will also allow you to stretch, without causing any lasting damage to the jacket, which opens up a wider amount of activities possible whilst remaining protected from the weather. A full-zip up the front of the jacket will seal in heat, protecting you from the windchill. A storm flap covers this to further reinforce the potential opening. A fully covering hood will offer you shelter in rainfall, with an adjustable cord allowing you to personalise the fit, whilst maintaining a wide field of vision. A drawcord surrounding the waist will allow you to secure the fit around the hem of the jacket. This will seal in heat to keep you warm and comfortable. Similarly, the cuffs have straps that can be tightened to keep warm air in the arms. It can also be loosened to allow a constant flow of air in and out of the jacket. Valuable items can be carried around with you in two zipped hip pockets. For extra security, there is a zipped inner pocket, which will allow you to carry even more items around with you. Flat-lying seams within the jacket will remove the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing. Taped seams throughout the jacket will ensure that no moisture is able to enter the jacket through these exposed areas.
