The two front pockets are located high above the hips for easy access when a backpack belt is fastened. Reflective elements feature on this Grivla jacket for visibility when it gets dark out. A system zipper can be used to detach the outer and inner jacket from one another when only one is needed. Loops and snaps are located at the sleeves and neck, which prevent the layers from moving relative to each other during use. The outer jacket is designed to protect your child from the wind and rain with the recycled Texapore Ecosphere technology. This material is extremely breathable, keeping your child ventilated. The mesh lining is also constructed from recycled material. The process of making this jacket is completely waste free as it uses recycled materials and leftover materials from sewing return to the production cycle and are used again. The inner jacket layer is made from NANUK 200 ECOSPHERE 100% recycled fleece for robust, hard-working warmth. The taffeta lined sleeves make it easier to slip on and off and this inner jacket also features two hand pockets for handy storage.
The source of inspiration for the GRIVLA JACKET was Hannah Steingässer. She and her entire family are following in the footsteps of climate change. The name of the GRIVLA jacket was borrowed from a bear that Hannah explored during her expeditions with a bear researcher.
