Designed to provide comfort, warmth, and protection, this maxi length coat is the perfect winter essential. Using a Stormlock Ecosphere outer construction, the 100% recycled polyester has a soft cotton-like feel and works to provide lightweight protection. The Kyoto delivers effective protection from wind and rain to keep you comfortable, warm, and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worse. The water-resistant fabric repels light rain and works hard to block out cold winds. The water-repellent coating is 100% PFC-free, so you can wear the Kyoto Long Coat with a clear conscience, knowing you're supporting sustainable production methods. As well as this, Stormlock Ecosphere fabric is robust and highly breathable, the fabrication allows cool air to flow throughout the garment whilst simultaneously allowing hot, humid air to escape. This creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Within the coat, high-loft synthetic fibre insulation works to keep you comfortable and warm at all times. Microguard Superloft 240 g/m² insulation works to keep your body temperature stabilised at all times. The synthetic fibre insulation works to trap escaping body heat so you can remain warm even when the temperatures drop. Furthermore, the synthetic fibre insulation is significantly less sensitive to moisture than down, so the odd shower of rain or snow is no problem.
To ensure added protection on cold winter days, the extra-large hood can be used to shield the face in harsh weather. The hood features an adjustable volume and field of vision to ensure a close and comfortable fit, while the snug overlapping collar protects your neck from icy winds. When weathers calm the hood can be easily stowed in the collar of the coat for a streamlined fit. The zip stops short of the hem of the coat, so despite the length of the coat, you get unrestricted freedom of movement. An adjustable hem allows you to cinch down the fit and helps to seal in escaping heat on cold days. Two hand pockets can store essential items or they can warm your hands when the mercury drops. Lastly, an inner pocket is perfect for storing your valuable items.
