Featuring Jack Wolfskin's signature Texapore fabrication, the jacket provides an abundance of protection from the elements whilst remaining highly breathable. The classic hard-shell material features a water-resistant outer and waterproof PU membrane which works to keep you comfortable and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worse. The waterproof membrane has a 20,000 water column rating which will keep you protected in the heaviest downpours. As well as this, the fabrication is also highly windproof meaning it works to block out cold winds so you'll never feel too cold when the mercury drops. The windproof construction reduces the risks of cold spots so you can continue with comfort and ease. Whilst working hard to protect you from the elements, Texapore technology also provides ample ventilation which works to keep you cool when temperatures rise. The breathable construction allows cool air to flow throughout the garment whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in.

To ensure added protection on cold winter days, the helmet-compatible hood can be used to shield the face in harsh weather. The hood can also be stowed into the jacket's collar when the sun begins to shine again. Pit zips under the arms are perfect for any expedition; these zips can be worn closed to seal in escaping heat or when temperatures rise they can be worn open to release an intolerable heat build-up. The pit zips work with the full zip to ensure added ventilation when you need it the most. The full zip also allows for an easy on and off for quick transitions as you go. Two hand pockets are perfect for keeping warm whilst an inner pocket is ideal for essential items. Lastly, reflectors increase your visibility to passing vehicles on late night adventures.
