A compression molded EVA midsole offers excellent cushioning underfoot for long day hikes, whereas a multi-directional lug pattern with razor siping offers superb traction over varied terrain. In addition a TPU stability shank built into the midsole creates a more stable ride. Traditional sandals don't offer much in the way of protection for your toes. The Newport H2 sandal features Keen.Protect which is a molded reinforcement around the toe area to safeguard against abrasion and mild impact to keep your toes safe from the unexpected.
