Designed to keep you warm in all conditions, the Alv Vest benefits from using Primaloft technology. The Primaloft behaves like down in many ways. It effectively retains heat to keep you feeling toasty and warm. As well as this, the materials will handle humidity better by drying off faster when exposed to moisture from sweat or rain. The extremely lightweight nature of it makes the gilet perfect as an inner layer, able to lie flat against the body whilst offering exceptional functionality. The outside surface of the vest is treated with a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent treatment that will wick surface moisture away efficiently and effectively. Minimised quiltings on the gilet remove the risk of colder spots and areas. A full-zip is easy to adjust to allow more air in or to keep it out. The zipper is angled to reduce the risk of irritation on the chin, as well as increasing the ventilation possibilities. A high neck with a wrap-around collar will feel soft and snug against the skin. Two zipped hand pockets with a high placement will allow you to store items securely, such as climbing equipment. Elastic arm cuffs will provide a secure fit around the shoulders. The bottom of the vest has an adjuster, which will allow you to seal the fit for more warmth. A reinforced hem and shoulders will improve the durability of the vest. The Primaloft, and additionally the other material used in the vest is made in part from recycled materials, making it a sustainable and environmentally-friendly product. As well as this, the material is bluesign approved, making it sustainably sourced and produced.
