The TX 2 from La Sportiva is a lightweight approach shoe that stows easily. Enhanced support and sticky rubber keeps you sure-footed in the mountains, whilst the one-piece knit uppers optimise drainage and breathability.

The TX2 is the lightest shoe in the Traverse X series and is designed for mountain trails and for hooking onto a harness. It is equipped with the C2 Combo Cord, which allows the shoes to be hooked to a harness quickly and compactly, giving easy storage. Every detail is designed to guarantee lightweight, grip, comfort, and protection during the approach phase and to allow the shoe to be used in more technical terrain.
Essential Design Uppers
The TX2 has essential design uppers with no stitching in elasticated knit fabric. This allows different degrees of elasticity within the shoe. The uppers are single-layer, which provides enhanced comfort and breathability. These uppers are coated in a protective lining, which ensures high abrasion resistance and contained weights. This makes the shoe ideal for a large range of terrains and weather conditions.
EVA Midsole
The Midsole of the TX2 is made from EVA, which offers outstanding stress and impact resistance properties while retaining a comfortable fit. The EVA protects your foot from the impact, collisions, and stress that it can endure during long adventures outdoors. The TX2 has taken inspiration from mountain running shoes in this regard; the shock absorption and flexibility seen in this shoe uses technology that is used in more traditional trail running shoes, making the TX2 an outstanding all-around choice.
