Aequilibrium LT GORE-TEX is the alpine hiking boot for heavy loads, ideal for backpacking and multi-day walks at high altitudes.
This upper is designed to withstand the elements. It is crafted from ultra-durable nubuck leather for protection against scuffs and scrapes out on the trail, whilst the abrasion-resistant fabric inserts allow for greater flexibility A gusseted tongue keeps debris out of the boot so you can keep going without distractions. A built-in GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining blocks out weather ingress whilst remaining breathable, preventing moisture from building up internally. A traditional lacing system with reinforced eyelets allows you to find a secure fit, whilst the 3D Flex System Evo directional joint with shaped malleolus and abrasion resistance allows better control, support and perfect mobility of the ankle. The shape is Ergonomic: enveloping and precise with TPU shells integrated into the toe and heel to reinforce the uppers for greater protection.
Durability and lightweight coexist in harmony thanks to the new outsole/midsole package with external Rubber Guard shell construction and internal foam material for accentuated cushioning. It is lightweight and derived from less use of rubber layers, meaning you can move with speed and control. It provides exceptional walkability thanks to the Double Heel: the very pronounced double-block rear geometry increases the braking effect downhill and allows a more fluid roll reducing muscle fatigue. Vibram SpringLug Tech tread combined with Impact Brake System lugs allow for greater adaptability to hard rock surfaces, helping you stay confident and control in multiple directions.
