The Junior version of the Tarantula model, a shoe designed for kids and teenagers who seek a product that supports technical progression without compromising on comfort.
Constructed using a suede leather upper, the La Sportiva Tarantulace provides the perfect balance of structure and stretch. Designed to provide the right amount of support for uncompromising climbs, this upper ensures a glove-like fit with a construction that conforms to the shape of the foot to provide a perfect fit. This minimises in-shoe slippage, as precision is important in climbing shoes. Added leather in the toe box protects from knocks and scrapes, ensuring feet remain protected at all times, whilst rubber in the back keeps your heel securely locked in place throughout the duration of your climb. Heel pulls tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off, and completing the upper is a mono-strap lacing system which locks the midfoot for a secure and stable fit.
Ideal for beginners, the outsole of the Tarantulace features grippy yet hardwearing FriXion Black. The 4mm outsole has been added to enhance durability and grip, allowing little feet to respond to all types of terrain. This ultra-sticky compound provides maximum performance as they climb from rock to rock; it is also just as sticky on plastic as it is on rock, meaning your little one can explore and climb on varied surfaces. The unbelievably sticky nature of the shoe ensures traction at all times, plus the rigid nature of the outsole provides unmatched durability, so they can climb with complete confidence. The outsole of the Tarantulace provides a hard-wearing grip that will provide optimal support anywhere.
