Mammut Eiger Nordwand Pro HS GORE-TEX Hooded Men's Jacket

A high-performing hardshell for harsh conditions and challenging ascents. This jacket is the flagship product of Mammut's iconic Eiger Nordwand collection, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025 and has been rigorously tested and fine-tuned by their athletes.

Crafted from a durable 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro fabric with a PFC-free ePE membrane, the jacket is waterproof, windproof, breathable and abrasion-resistant. The GORE-TEX Pro membrane has billions of pores per square inch that are smaller than a water droplet, preventing liquid water from passing through, but larger than a water vapour molecule, allowing sweat to pass through, keeping you dry inside and out. For further weather protection, the jacket has been coated with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment and a helmet-compatible, 3-way adjustable hood with reinforced peak to provide clear vision when the weather turns. The jacket has been constructed with a climbing-specific pattern for an articulated fit and freedom of movement, allowing you to move restriction-free when climbing. A shaped hem with a lower back provides enhanced weather protection, while strategically placed top stitching increases tear strength at critical seams. The jacket has a zip-off snow skirt with an anti-slip grip and a double-button placket for individual adjustment. Allowing you to alter the fit, Mammut has included dual-sided hem and custom-designed cord pullers for easier usability, even when using gloves. Shaped cuffs with hook and loop adjustment, with a grosgrain tab extension, trap in heat, keeping you toasty when the temperatures drop. Mammut has included a 2-way, water-repellent YKK VISLON AquaGuard centre front zipper with an internal storm flap and fleece-lined chin guard for comfort. The front zip makes it easy to regulate temperature, zipped down it increases airflow and when up, prevents heat from escaping. For a quick release of heat, there are underarm pit zips with 2-way, water-repellent YKK VISLON AquaGuard zippers. The Eiger Norwand Pro Jacket has plenty of storage space for your essentials, two climbing harness-compatible front pockets, two chest pockets with volume pleats and an inner gear loop in the left pocket. But that's not all, there is a sleeve pocket and two large internal mesh dump pockets. All the external pockets feature a water-repellent YKK VISLON AquaGuard zipper. Completing the jacket is a RECCO reflector for improved searchability in emergencies.
