Mammut Nova IV Low GORE-TEX Women's Walking Shoes
The Nova IV Low GORE-TEX has a flexible and grippy Vibram sole for optimum sure-footedness on day hikes. Damping 3D Memo Foam in the lining and insole, as well as a breathable, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, ensures steady comfort.
Terracare Leather Upper
Constructed using eco-friendly Terracare leather, the Nova IV Low provides lightweight stability whilst giving you protection for all your hikes. The Terracare leather has been uniquely designed using state-of-the-art methods with minimal water and electricity use, meaning this shoe is produced using renewable energy sources. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, the shoes are completely waterproof for protection in wet, soggy conditions and super breathable to prevent feet from overheating. The soft, padded tongue and heel collar sit close to the foot and ankle for increased comfort, while rubber reinforcements in the heel and toes help shield feet on tough terrain. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
EVA Midsole
Engineered using an EVA midsole, the Nova IV provide excellent cushioning and shock absorption. EVA is mapped out to cushion your landing and provide you with shock-absorbing properties to reduce the risks of irritation or discomfort and encourage soft strides. A 3D Memo Foam insole provides you with an individual fit, by contouring to the shape of your foot and supplying cushioning at the instep, shin and ankle for a plush feel.
Vibram XS Trek Outsole
The Nova IV utilises a Vibram XS Trek rubber outsole, delivering high levels of grip while remaining incredibly durable. This is an exceptional source of stability and grip for your feet, providing you with an optimum level of sure-footedness on day hikes. The flexible properties of the outsole allow feet to move comfortably and naturally, whereas the grippy nature of the sole provides you with the traction necessary on ever-changing terrain. Increasing traction underfoot are multi-directional lugs that dig deep on wet, slippery surfaces and tricky terrain, so you can remain stable and secure across varying conditions.
