Constructed from a three-layer Mammut DRY Active laminate alongside recycled content, the Taiss Light HS is a protective layer to keep you comfortable and dry in poor weather hikes during unpredictable spring or summer weather conditions. Mammut DRY Tour is a durable, waterproof fabric with a DWR treatment that prevents you from getting wet during downpours and is super breathable to reduce overheating when things get tough. Mammut High Reach technology also resides in the jacket, providing unrestricted freedom of movement when climbing without restrictions getting in the way. The two-way water-repellent front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off, helps control ventilation and enhances waterproof protection. The jacket has an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood for extra coverage and shielding from frequently changing weather, while the pre-shaped cuffs sit close to the wrists to prevent wind chill from entering. To stop further windchill and provide an adjustable fit, the jacket has a drawstring hem adjustment, which provides you with the perfect fit and feel. Two climbing harness- and backpack-compatible front pockets offer ample space to store your essential items, and feature water-repellent zips to keep your contents dry. A zippered internal pocket made from elastic mesh provides space to store your essential items and doubles as a stuff sack to fully pack the jacket into for easy transportation.
