Merrell Siren 3 GORE-TEX Women's Walking Shoes

Designed specifically for women, this hiking shoe is built with Q Form 2 stability technology and a Vibram MegaGrip outsole for confidence no matter the terrain.

GORE-TEX Upper

Surrounding the upper of the shoe is a GORE-TEX membrane, providing durable waterproofing. This will mean exposure to wet ground or rain will simply rebound away from the shoe, allowing your feet to stay comfortable and dry. In addition to the waterproofing benefits of GORE-TEX, it will also allow exceptional ventilation, where warm air will transfer out of the shoe with ease, and be replaced by cooler air from outside. The heel is held in a secured position, preventing it from moving out of position and causing an injury. In addition, the insole has a Hyperlock moulded heel counter, which will over time mould to your individual heel shape, and maximise your comfort. Completing the upper are webbing loops and laces, as well as, a padded tongue which will ensure you always have a comfortable and secure fit. The bellows tongue will keep debris out, preventing dirt from rubbing and causing irritation on the ankle.

Q Form Midsole 2

Utilising Merrell's Q FORM 2 midsole, this multi-beneficial midsole will provide protective stability and support. Using dual-density EVA foam will prevent shocks from reaching the sole of the foot, and is also extremely cushioned, meaning all-day comfort is guaranteed. The heel has a pronounced cup which keeps it centred and means that shocks are absorbed a lot more easily, whilst the foot is also stabilised. The Kinetic Fit Tri insole works with the natural movement of the foot to provide stability to all three major arches during athletic ability. The midsole is able to propel you along as you step with its flexible nature, and the energy created is also returned as a rebound for a smoother stride.

Vibram Outsole

Providing you ultimate traction and stability, the shoes are fitted with a Vibram outsole. The outsole is developed for extremely slippery terrain, and having a durable rubber compound means it can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Deep lugs will also anchor you into position, especially on the muddy ground, providing a solid base to push on from, and provides assistance when braking or changing direction.
