GORE-TEX Upper

Constructed using a combination of breathable mesh and TPU fabrics, alongside a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane, the Antora 2's keep your feet breathable, protected and dry, allowing you to go the distance in complete comfort. The breathable mesh construction allows feet to remain cool, even when your journey begins to heat up. Perforations through the fabric allow air to flow freely throughout the shoe, ensuring warm used air is replaced by comfortable, fresh air, to keep you focused on the course ahead. Alongside this, TPU inserts provide the shoes with durability, for long-lasting wear, whilst also protecting feet from knocks and bumps on the trail. Engineered from a GORE-TEX membrane the Antora 2 Walking Boots supply feet with an exceptional level of protection against rainy and wet conditions. This, therefore, prevents water from entering the shoes, which in turn keeps feet feeling comfortable and cosy inside. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit construction has been specially integrated into the upper to reduce pressure points, wrinkles and noise. This results in a true fit that's lighter, more flexible and more comfortable than ordinary GORE-TEX products. To ensure your heel remains locked in, the shoes have an external rear sling. Finally, a lightly cushioned tongue keeps debris from entering inside the shoe whilst the lacing system is integrated with the tongue to provide a secure fit. The lacing system works to lock down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

EVA Midsole

The midsole has been constructed using various technologies to ensure long-lasting comfort and increased cushioning. A removable EVA foam footbed resides within the midsole offering supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, holding the foot securely in place for a smoother transition and wear. Supporting these key areas of the foot, the Rock Plate material is integrated into the midsole of the shoes to help prevent discomfort and possible injury. Alongside this, a medial post provides light pronation relief, and forefoot and heel cushion pods keep feet comfortable. Finally, the shoes feature a Super Rebound Compound which provides durable shock absorption for the heel, in order to help reduce torque and allow for a smooth transition into the midfoot.

Vibram TC5+ Outsole

Designed with a technical compound for great overall performance, the Merrell Antora 2 GORE-TEX Walking Shoes utilise a Vibram TC5+ outsole. The outsole is perfect for a range of activities including multisport, outdoor adventures, mountain biking, snow sports and water sports, due to its exceptional performance.
