Lightweight Synthetic Upper

Designed to provide comfort and waterproof protection, the Merrell MOAB Speed Walking Shoes have been constructed using a lightweight mesh and waterproof upper. The mesh upper works to provide lightweight breathability and protection to keep feet safe on rocky terrains. Acting as a lightweight second skin the mesh ensures your little one is able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for their feet to thrive in. TPU overlays have been strategically placed on the upper to provide durability and support where needed. The reinforcements wrap the foot in lightweight support to promote a secure fit that resists the risks of wear and tear. The shoes have recycled PET linings for additional comfort, as well as, an anti-odorous lining to help reduce the growth of odorous microbes, therefore ensuring feet feel fresh. Completing the upper are 100% recycled laces with a Velcro strap which work together to lock down the midfoot so your child can enjoy distraction-free strides.

FloatPro Foam Midsole

Within the midsole Merrell's signature FloatPro Foam has been used to ensure a light, stable ride. The midsole ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact placed upon the feet on tough trails whilst remaining as lightweight as possible so your child will never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, holding the foot securely in place for a smoother transition and wear. By supporting these key areas of the foot, the midsole material can also help to offer enough support to help prevent discomfort and possible injury. An EVA foam insole sits underneath the foot to ensure complete comfort over long distances. The insole provides additional cushioning so they can go further for longer in complete comfort.

Non-Marking Outsole

Developed using a Non-Marking outsole, the MOAB Speed provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the extremely durable 30% recycled rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor your little one in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Ensuring multi-directional grip, the outsole provides traction on varied terrain to give confident footing on varied terrain.
