Full-Grain Leather and GORE-TEX Upper

To provide your feet with an ultimate level of protection, whilst enhancing the durability of the shoes, the Moab 2 Leather GORE-TEX Shoes have a full-grain leather upper construction. This is a moisture-wicking, durable material to keep your feet feeling comfortable and protected, whilst mesh inserts enhance the breathability of the shoes, to provide a constant supply of fresh air. This combination of materials allows your feet to thrive inside the shoes, without causing restriction or discomfort on the trail. Keeping your feet dry during poor, changing weather, the shoes have a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane, which further enhances the breathability, whilst simultaneously preventing your feet from becoming wet and cold. A protective rubber toe cap protects your feet from knocks and bumps on changing, uneven terrain, therefore preventing injuries and discomfort. The shoes have a bellowed, closed-cell foam tongue, which keeps the moisture and debris out, and sits comfortably against your foot for comfort. Working alongside this is a traditional lace-up system, keeping the foot locked in and secure and preventing in-shoe slippage.

The walking shoes have a contoured Merrell M Select FIT.ECO insole that provides enhanced heel and arch structure, with the intuitive shape and recycled EVA offering exceptional stability and comfort. This is combined with the integrated Merrell air cushions located in the heels, the Merrell MOAB 2 GORE-TEX Walking Shoes work to reduce fatigue and provide medium support to keep you going further for longer during demanding and challenging activities. The moulded nylon arch shank provides a supportive structure that resides between the insole and the outsole; diminishing the load incurred on your feet and calves over the course of your adventure the moulded nylon arch shank further helps to reduce fatigue.

Vibram TC5+ Outsole

Designed with a technical compound, and exceptional overall performance, perfect for outdoor activities, the outsole construction of Moab 2 Leather GORE-TEX Shoes have a Vibram TC5+ outsole. The outsole is designed to offer traction and support in all conditions. This construction allows the shoes to have some flexibility for more comfortable stepping. The advanced rubber compound provides traction on wet, and dry surfaces in even the most extreme temperatures ensuring you have confident footing no matter where you chose to explore. Finished with a 5mm lug pattern the outsole helps you move through dirt and trail with unparalleled traction and grip.
