Merrell SpeedARC Surge BOA Women's Walking Shoes

Introducing Merrell's most innovative and athletic fast hiking shoe, engineered to seamlessly transition from city streets to rugged trails with unmatched comfort using cutting-edge technology.

Matryx Upper

Using a combination of multi-filament threads of Kevlar alongside high-tenacity polyamide, the SpeedARC Surge BOA's upper provides a single-layer of lightweight, breathability, with outstanding abrasive resistance to ensure long-lasting reliability and excellent levels of comfort. The materials are extremely breathable to help prevent overheating during high-pressure periods of your workout. The durable nature of the upper protects feet and shields the shoes from damage on the trails, resisting bumps, bashes and scrapes on rough terrain. The upper has flexible properties to allow feet to move comfortably and naturally when wearing the shoes, whilst durable overlays protect toes and feet from discomfort. Working with this, a 100% recycled breathable mesh lining keeps feet cool, feeling fresh and at an optimum temperature when adventuring on long hikes. The padded collar and stretchy tongue ensure comfort and security while wearing the shoes, and the sock-like design means the shoes easily slip onto your foot for a supportive fit and feel. Finally, the shoes feature a unique dual BOA lacing system, with meticulous adjustment for ultimate comfort, optimised adaptability and outstanding performance. The system allows you to quickly and effectively tighten or loosen the fit of the shoes, adding security and comfort to the shoes.

FloatPro+ Foam Midsole

The SpeedARC Surge BOA offers soft, comfortable steps for long-distance hikes, equipped with FloatPro+ Foam. This lightweight compound delivers enduring bounce and energy, helping you push forward with each stride. It absorbs impact on varied, rugged landscapes, minimising discomfort and protecting against injuries. For even more assistance when striking down onto often uncomfortable surfaces, the shoes feature a removable EVA foam footbed and 100% recycled mesh footbed, for soft, plush cushioning, and changeable levels of comfort and breathability. Alongside this, Merrell's lightweight FlexPlate technology uses a stability plate to enhance torsional rigidity, lateral stability, and forefoot flexibility. Keeping feet smelling and feeling fresher for longer, the shoes feature a Cleansport NXT treatment, providing feet and shoes with natural odour control.

Merrell Quantum Grip Outsole

Support for navigating changing trails and challenging adventures is enhanced by the durable and grippy Quantum Grip Outsole. This outsole offers mountain-grade traction, making it ideal for fast-paced movement or hiking. It ensures confidence and comfort while tackling difficult terrains. The 4mm lugs on the outsole dig deep into the mud, soggy, and slippery surfaces, providing stability in a range of trail conditions.
